HEAD OF QA M/F
Fixed term contract for 12 months, renewable to a permanent agreement

The Head of QA is responsible for the creation, maintenance and correct usage of a quality system that meets GMP requirements, supporting the success of our Analytical and Formulation Development activities. As part of our Senior Leadership Team you are involved in the continuous improvement of our organization and enjoy developing long lasting internal and external relations.

This position is based in the Leiden office and offers hybrid working options.

YOUR MISSION :
• Understand, interpret and translate quality guidelines to build a quality strategy aligned with the organizational strategy and regulations in place
• Identification, creation and implementation of quality systems, tools, procedures and processes within QbD principles to support both the development and GMP activities
• Complete periodic reviews, reporting and feedback to the business to improve way of working
• Identify risks and deviations
• Formulate mitigation plans and guide the development teams in quality improvement
• Review internal audit methods
• Lead the QA team, including managerial responsibilities and workforce planning
• Coach and guide our team to guarantee a quality level in line with the objectives defined and the regulations the site has to comply with

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HEAD OF QA WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE :
• Scientific degree (pharmacy/chemistry/biological)
• Scientific experience in sterile injectables (GMP)
• Ambition to lead and develop a team
• QP or ready to get certified
• Understanding of regulatory requirements
• Significant experience in QA systems
• Fluent English, verbally and in writing
